1. WHY HUMANISM, SPIRITUALITY & ART?

Humanism places the person at the first level, each level is unique and unrepeatable, a project of capacities that needs to be obtained at its maximum potential. This process is about converting each human being into someone confident and committed to his or her era and to a better future.

Espirituality is the profoundest nature of our own being: beliefs, ideas, utopias, passions… it is what defines our humanity, it makes us become aware of our being children of God, it opens us to live our desires intensely, to be lead by the Spirit, to offer our hands for the building of God’s household.

Art is that essential vehicle of human communication. Art is especially valued by young adults. It is in art that the individual finds no boundaries; it is that which puts the individual in contact with other cultures and different languages; it makes dialogue possible without words. Art allows us to express ourselves in gratitude and to communicate with a universal language…

Humanism and Spirituality, in the tradition of Company of Mary, is the Art of living and expressing God in life, this is the profound theme of this congress.
